(사)한국상담학회 (The Korean Counseling Association) 국제학술지편집위원회 홍보 한국상담학회 국제학술지 창간에 즈음하여 (The Journal of Asia Pacific Counseling: JAPC) 한국상담학회 회원 여러분 한국상담학회는 2000년 6월에 창립되어 지난 10여 년 간 눈부신 발전을 거듭해왔습니다. 그러한 발전의 큰 걸음 중 하나로 2011년 2월 한국상담학회는 국제학술지 The Journal of Asia Pacific Counseling (JAPC)의 창간호를 발간하였습니다. 이는 글로벌 시대에 학문적 교류를 촉진하고 아시아․태평양지역에서 축적되는 상담관련 지식을 국제사회에 알리고자 하는 노력의 일환입니다. 저희는 이러한 노력을 통해 크게는 한국 상담의 세계화를 촉진하고 한국상담학회의 위상을 높이며, 작게는 학회원 여러분들의 지식을 국제사회에 알리고 공유하고자 합니다. 저희는 국제학술지의 발간이 국내 인문사회계 학회들 중에서 매우 드문 일일 뿐 아니라 국내 상담학계에서는 처음 있는 일이라는 점도 중요하지만 그보다 이 일이 한국 상담의 발전에 크게 기여할 것이라는 믿음과 비전의 현실화라는 점에 더 큰 의미를 두고 있습니다. 이러한 의미를 가진 본 국제학술지가 발간되기까지 학회원 여러분께서 한국상담학회와 국제학술지 편집위원회에 보내주신 크나 큰 애정과 관심에 깊은 감사를 드리며, 다음과 같은 점을 안내해드립니다. 1. 창간호의 모든 논문은 학술지 홈페이지(www.kcajournal.org)에서 무료로 내려 받아 보실 수 있습니다. 많이 활용하셔서 높은 학문적 성과를 이루시기 바랍니다. 2. 현재 2011년 8월에 출간될 두 번째 호를 준비하고 있습니다. 아래 "Call for Papers"를 참고하셔서 여러분의 귀중한 논문을 저희 학술지에 많이 투고해주시기 바랍니다. 원고는 4월 30일까지 저희 편집팀 (japc@snu.ac.kr)으로 보내주시기 바랍니다. 3. 창간호 발간을 기념하여 국제학술지 발간사업을 위한 기금마련행사를 기획중이오니 학회원 여러분의 많은 참여 있으시기 바랍니다. 4. 기타 문의나 학술지 발전을 위한 제안은 japc@snu.ac.kr로 해주시기 바랍니다. JAPC 편집팀 및 편집위원장 올림 Call for Papers: Journal of Asia Pacific Counseling (JAPC) Deadline: April 30, 2011 The Journal of Asia Pacific Counseling (JAPC) is an official publication of the Korean Counseling Association (KCA) that has more than 8,000 South Korean counselors and counseling psychologists as its members. Korean Counseling Association has long recognized the need for having an outlet for scholarly work that gives special attention to the applications of counseling with diverse populations in the Asia Pacific region. In setting up the Journal of Asia Pacific Counseling, many internationally renowned scholars have provided invaluable input regarding the title of the journal, potential editors, and the target audience. JAPC is intended for both researchers and practitioners, and includes theoretical, empirical, and methodological articles in the areas of counseling interventions, prevention, career development and vocational psychology, supervision and training, assessment, multicultural aspects of counseling, and consultation. All articles are published in English, and JAPC is issued twice a year in February and August. The inaugural issue has just been released in the past month. Please visit the homepage of the Journal of Asia Pacific Counseling (www.kcajournal.org) for full details on aims and scope, editorial policy, and article submission. The next due date for manuscript submission is on April 30, 2011. Please submit manuscripts via e-mail (japc@snu.ac.kr), following the guidelines described on the homepage of the journal.
